An exquisite pair of Restauration period gilded bronze mounted red marble cassolettes, the marble urn supported by a tripod gilded bronze base 'en athenienne' with a , above a square red marble plinth mounted on a square bronze base, centred by a stem adorned by a twisted snake, the egg shaped body with three wonderful lions mask, holding brass chains in their months, the bronze acorn topped marble lid reversible, encapsulating a gilded bonze tooled candle holder.
