An unusual, gilt bronze Empire style chandelier. Issuing six arms of light from a central hoop adorned with acanthus motifs and satires. Three chains suspend the chandelier from an acanthus leaf crown, with a solid urn in the centre of the light. Delicate crystal and amethyst beads and flowers decorate the frame, with swags of beads forming the ‘basket’ of the chandelier, terminating with a solid crystal ball.
