Louis XV style 24 carat gold ormolu Lantern made of four serpentine fine of curved glass one of which is an opening door the supports in stylised acanthus terminating with small bunches of grapes outward scrolls above.
The top with five upwards squirrelling supports with stylised acantha sleeves connecting to a central hanger suspending a rope twist stem candelabra of fine quality once for candles but now electrified, First part of the 19th Century.
