An excellent quality, ormolu bronze lantern in the Louis XVI style. The ovoid body with a single light suspended within a beautiful frosted glass and starburst cut shade. The scrolled gilt bronze body with rams heads, acanthus, rosettes and leaves, the bottom decorated with an acanthus bud. French, late 19^th century.
