A large baccarat style silvered bronze chandelier. Comprising of 12 lower arms, 6 on lower level and 6 above, all with attractive castellated drip pans. The original candleholders with a leaf motif in the shape of an urn. The outward sweeping arms on the bottom layer have two branch candelabras suspended by button chains of high-quality crystal glass. The centre stem with thick blown cut and polish stem with several sections of scrolls suspending plaques and large faceted droplets. The upper section with a crown rolling outwards of acanthus leaves suspended with large chains of buttons. Circa 1860-1880.
