An Italian hanging niche possibly for a Madonna in the Austrian Hungarian style the central niche with a blue painted background within an arch surrounded in husks flanked by gilded flowers a pair of columns with architectural work above mounted with central cartouche and further husks the bracket below the niche with a wind cherubs face reverse showing very nice untouched back with original iron hanger circa 1770
